about

"The Strawberry Orcas Take Over Bingo Town" is an album of cover songs recorded during 2015. The Strawberry Orcas are my daughter, Maya, and myself. She came up with the title of both our band and the album. She is 12 at the time of this release, though these songs were recorded when she was 10 and 11 (save tracks 20-21, recorded when she was 8 or 9). Songs 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 25 and 26 were recorded by Maya herself on the Tascam DP-02 I got her for Christmas 2014. Lots of numbers here.
